Where the robots are made
A look inside the work space. Magic, strange lights, puffs of blue smoke, strange utterances like that of a sailor that has been drinking all night and lots of sweet, sweet motor sounds.

Half a robot
Side tracked into deep adventures writing C Arduino code, 3D printing and learning the hot iron something emerged.

What's inside the clam shell?
Several months ago I received an Omnibot 2000 from eBay. The eBay listing had indicated the thing was in bad condition as the owner remarked that it did not work and had a broken arm. The robot was cheap and no one was bidding. I had my chance. I swooped in on this bargain and pressed the bid button. Fifty dollars gone and the bot was on it's way to my house. It arrived and I eagerly unboxed it The first thing I noticed was it smelled funny. Perhaps in its glory days, in the eighties, it smoked cigars...or maybe hung out in seedy bars or pool halls...maybe even attended a strip club or two. Well it was out of the box and was immediately getting the screwdriver treatment. After dissembling I realized Omnibots made a great home for mud dubbing wasps. Many of the screw holes were plugged with mummified wasp larva. Inside I even found a hanging wasp's nest and a smallish dried up cockroach.
The robot was busted up bad. It looked like it had survived a cage match with a three year old and just barley won. After the dual it was promptly retired to an old barn on a hill.
